DEAR MINISTERPRESIDENT SEEHOFER, KULTUSMINISTER SPAENLE, & POLITICIANS in BAYERN STATE,
DEAR MUNCHNER STADTRAT, OBERBURGERMEISTER UDE, & KULTURREFERENT KUPPERS,

What do you think about my analysis? There is one more thing to write, but not in this open place. I find that this issue, Celibidache’s successor at Munich Philharmonic, is becoming the Munich-Scandal. Gosh… How many scandals have I gone through? Even without this Munich-Scandal, I was supposed to finish this part with this issue. Because this is exactly what I felt while searching for information on German orchestras. It was not Chicago problem only. Not Berlin problem only. And not Munich problem only.

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayerischer_Musikrat

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutscher_Musikrat
Der Deutsche Musikrat (DMR) ist der größte Musikdachverband in Deutschland. (…) (…) Der DMR ist das Nationalkomitee der Bundesrepublik Deutschland im Internationalen Musikrat der UNESCO. Schirmherr des gemeinnützigen Vereins ist der Bundespräsident.

What are these institutions exactly doing? It’s not my first time to study German Cultural Organization, but I am still in trouble to understand Deutscher Kulturrat, which is located in Berlin. What is favorite music of Bayerischer Musikrats President? What is favorite music of Deutschen Musikrats President? What’s more, whenever I clicked performance schedule of German orchestras, I always found the same names.

The German Arts Funding Model Jan 4, 2002 / By http://www.osborne-conant.org
(…) Almost all arts funding is administered on the state and municipal levels. They reason that local arts administrators will best know the interests of the community, as well as the quality and needs of the artists who live there. Each city invariably takes great pride in its cultural offerings. They feel that a rich and locally autonomous cultural life not only contributes to the quality of their lives, but also adds prestige to their community. (…) Each city government has an arts ministry that distributes the funding for the local institutions and artists. (…) Germany did not even have a federal arts minister until two years ago, and when he was appointed there was an uproar. (…)

While writing each message to each State of Germany, and while searching for Cultural information on each State, I realized the meaning of this article. This was written years ago, but still part of it was working.

Isn’t each professional orchestra supported by each state government and its community’s taxpayers? Isn’t each music director in charge of developing its own culture? Isn’t each leader in charge of digging out the talented youngsters in his own community? Instead, this Jewish System called‘HAVER MEVI HAVER’ or ‘FRIEND BRINGS A FRIEND’ practice or the best example of Cronyism is what I found. At the first glance, Daniel Barenboim looks like a King in this Classical Web. But this guy is not. Then who do you think its King is?

Of course, it would have been perfect if this system is based on the QUALITY of MUSIC. Is it?

Economic Crisis Puts the Squeeze on Arts Jul 2, 2003 / By DW-world
(…) Arts institutions are under pressure. As politicians in Germany — and Europe — struggle to find solutions to the budgetary crisis, they are turning their attention to private arts funding. (…) State governments decide who — which museum, theater, orchestra — gets money and how much. It’s no secret that state and local jurisdictions are in trouble — Berlin, for example, is broke — but can arts institutions turn to the federal government to bail them out? Not easily. A Federal Cultural Foundation was recently created, but came into conflict with the Cultural Foundation of the States, which was established over fifteen years ago. Attempts to unite the two have been plagued by prickly and, thus far, not entirely successful negotiations. But while the German federal and state governments bicker, publicly-funded arts institutions throughout Europe are thinking about how to cut costs (…)

In 1999, according to this article, the Munich Philharmonic received pounds 16m a year in grants. So did the acclaimed Berlin Philharmonic. Sir Rattle’s article on Jun 20, 2009 still says that his BPO receives most of its funds from the state. How much Munich and Berlin Philharmonic are receiving now?

🙂 Garbage & Sh*ts in Berlin (sic!)
JIWON: I remember the birth of Oper In Berlin / Opernstiftung Berlin, and I’m still in trouble to figure out its reason. Is its only job to supervise three/four opera houses’ performance schedule? Hadn’t Berlin music got worse since then? Quality, I mean… Then, What is the exact identity of this organization, Akademie der Künste? Couple of Bashkirova’s mentors, who never questioned this whore’s heavenly talent no matter how my open insulting spread all over the world, are found here. What do they do here? First of all, I just start to understand the real reason of German orchestras’ bottomless failing… despite all my hard working to report those SH*TS’ hilarious tour schedule. Had Deutscher Bühnenverein (Koeln) / German Theatre and Orchestra Association supported Members of Bashkirova-Gang?

NOW,
What the hell is EVERYBODY doing here? Isn’t
‘Chefin der Senatskanzlei’, who casually admitted that ‘eine Opernfusion in Berlin unmöglich sei, weil man danach nicht wieder gewählt würde’? Who is whose wife?

EVERYBODY is doing a terrific job.

DEAR BUNDESKANZLERIN ANGELA and MERKEL’S GERMAN GOVERNMENT,

Who will be able to win 17th German Federal Election and join 17th Bundestag? I never want, nor plan to meddle in your German election process. I’m now surprised to find that Bundesrepublik Deutschland had EIGHT Bundeskanzler in its history; THREE from Social Democrats (SPD) and FIVE from Christian Democrats (CDU). I also find that Angela Merkel’s era is just beginning and that her three predecessors were unlucky ones; Ludwig Erhard (1963-66), Kurt Georg Kiesinger (1966-69), and Willy Brandt (1969-74)

Why don’t we make Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel not only the first female but the greatest leader in German history?

Had I realized earlier what an important issue CULTURE had been in the Intellectual Germany or among the German Voters… Please don’t get me wrong. Of course, I do feel pity on the German politicians, who never know how to save their dying German talented youngsters. But this is never my kind of satire on the German culture. As all the German politicians know about my computer work, this is not my first time to study German Cultural Organizations, and I now know what lacked in my research.

Years ago, I started my research from the TOP, KULTURMINISTER. Whenever I resumed this work, I always failed. I treated German Culture with scorn as much as failed in my research. My research should have started from the BOTTOM; Stadtrat or Kulturamt or Kulturreferat or of each city or each state government. To be honest, I felt AWE while searching for Cultural Information on each State of Germany.

Then, I just can’t understand. I clearly heard dying German music from elsewhere German orchestras. Did I miss something while analyzing what I heard?

3. Dec 14, 2008: (…) (…)

IN SUM,
I wrote EVERYTHING… ALL THAT HATRED… ALL my plans for Barenboim’s future. I have NO intention to play games with anyone, including Chancellor of Germany.
