Former AC Milan coach Leonardo confirms he is interested in coaching Brazil Jul 6, 2010
I Am Available To Coach Brazil – Former AC Milan Boss Leonardo Jul 6, 2010
…NO imformation…
Leonardo and the national team, the story gets serious: “I would be available to coach Brazil”
(…)
“Sinceramente io non so niente.
You know your name listed among the most for the next coach of Brazil? “Honestly I do not know anything. I never spoke with the Federation, the only thing I know is what comes out of the press. I think it’s a special moment for Brazil was eliminated in premature and unexpected for everyone. We are years ahead of very important because Brazil will host the World Cup finals after 64 years. It is to build a movement and many other things, perhaps we mend are also certain concepts and certain values, to reorganize an event that everyone is waiting with great joy. I do not what will happen. I think my story has a bit ‘confused Brazil, this is the truth. My story was very close the leadership and management aspect, which is what I like and I’ve always done. Last year, then I was on the bench and this has confused a bit ‘me too. The bench is a very dangerous virus. Milan gave me the unique opportunity to do both. The role of the coach should gradually change. Giving a sports project all of a coach I think is too little real organization. It takes an organization more wide, a much better idea of the role of coach compete. We want a project. There soni many good coaches who could coach Brazil “.
You can say no to the bench in Brazil? “This is a good question. I do not know if you can say no or yes, I know is that we must build a real project. It takes many people pay attention to every detail and . We must give people specific tasks and suggest a role for everything. Brazil need many things because to organize a World Cup and build a team that plays with a Brazilian style to please everyone, there are a number of things on which to think. I do not seek a job, seeking a dream. I decided to be available to all. If I choose my road, maybe not the time. And ‘for 20 years who are outside Brazil. Manco a long time to “touch”, but what I lived and I learned not become a problem. I think to make it available. Then, maybe there are no roles or decide for others, but I believe that Brazil should think about the great opportunity that has to change the management team and his country. There are very old structures that need new ideas. So I think we need a new management. I decided to make myself available. If nothing will happen, I will decide after that. ”
So you gave your availability? “I’m giving because it is the first time I speak. I have not spoken in Brazil because it seemed the moment.”

Leonardo performs almost all Brazil, DENY relationship with Inter and sees a future for Milan: “You will find the winning solutions”
“That Ronaldinho under my management was not a miracle, but a personal redemption.”
During his speech to Sky Sport 24, the former Milan coach Leonardo also spoke of Brazil, commenting on the World team Dunga. But he also talked about his experience in Milan and on the alleged involvement of ‘Inter’s Massimo Moratti against him after the departure of Jose Mourinho.
(…)
We have talked all season of Milan “Brazilian” but Brazil was just “Milan.” Do not be surprised some illustrious exceptions? “I am a bit ‘part. With them (Ronaldinho, Pato, Thiago Silva, Ed) have a direct relationship. Last year I have been very close, but not because I’m Brazilian but because they are important players. Ronaldinho That was a personal purchase, even before the player. I think the nice thing was seeing him return to some degree, because his life had to rearrange some things. ”
The recovery of Ronaldinho was a miracle your means? “I do not think it was a miracle. It ‘was a question of relationships, facilitated by the fact that both Brazil and well known throughout its history. According to all contact with him day and determining what to do, surely I was very close but he helped me so much because it solved a lot of games. I think that relationships are what’s moving around. ”
It ‘true that you said no to Inter? You called? “No, I called it. I have a great relationship with him, I have great admiration because he took a legacy difficult to win because Inter have this label on him was not easy. For me, standing by ‘ Moreover, it was difficult to continue our relationship but there was and is a tune with him. Certainly, my relationship with Milan is something beyond. I could not work for another team in Italy which is not Milan. ”
Berlusconi has accompanied you on this future project? Have not you heard more? “I think there will always dream, is what makes us get up in the morning, this applies to everyone. I can not judge my relationship with Milan for the last year, it is impossible to forget 12 years ago. Maybe all the things that have happened have happened because there was a relationship too strong, too strong, as a relationship between husband and wife. Too much knowledge, too many friends, too much gratitude that it becomes difficult for all two. Surely Milan will find solutions for this moment and move forward. If we think of the last 10 years, were more than winning. We can not look at only the last two years were years complicated transition, with a market gone mad . Italy in general is experiencing a difficult time. Inter managed to stay because he has made investments that have made it competitive in Europe but for all others was not easy. Milan live here but this thing will change and AC Milan will find solutions. ”

Milan Coach Leonardo on “AC-Milan 4-0 Siena”: Ronaldinho Is The Best In The World, Who Should Thank His Team Jan 18, 2010
(…) Leonardo is delighted that his man has finally rediscovered his magic in front on goal.
“Ronaldinho has always lived his career like this, transmitting passion and happiness,” Leonardo told the press.
“This is what he wants. He is the greatest footballer in the world and he has refound his taste for football.”
Leonardo was also keen to remember the other protagonists who have played their part in Ronaldinho’s revival.
“He has to thank this team, who could have given up on him when he made mistakes. Instead they supported him and took him to where he is today,” he concluded.
Milan are six points behind Inter with a game in hand heading into the derby.

Not yet but he is well on his way back if he keeps playing like this. I would say that he is top 15 at the moment if he keeps going on like this. His statistics with 9 goals, 9 assists or something only in Serie A and 2 more goals in the CL talks for itself. I understand Leo is trying to bring his confidence up and build up a new imagine for Dinho and that’s very good 😉

Milan Coach Leonardo Admits Dressing Room Argument With Ronaldinho Apr 24, 2010
Milan coach Leonardo has admitted having a dressing room argument with Ronaldinho because of the playmaker’s lack of effort against Sampdoria last week.
The Brazilian coach has not been happy with ‘Dinho’s return on the pitch and he showed it.
“We had an argument in the dressing room because I did not like the way he played at all,” Leonardo told the press.
“The discussion served him well because he showed what he is capable of doing after that.”
Leonardo has invited the team to play with their hearts against Palermo later tonight.
“We still have not realised anything. The game against Palermo will be one of the heart. As a result, we must speak about the present not the future,” he said in relation to his days at the club.

Leo should not have to work this hard to motivate Ronaldinho; but he is doing it because Milan lacks depth. Any other top team, and Ronaldinho would be on the bench. Sir Alex @ManU would never stand for this. I guess Ronaldinho has found his perfect team, a famous club with a short bench.

The truth is quite evident. Ronaldinho is still way below par. And for those of you who would jump at the chance to take a swipe at me and arguing your case, just please, compare the player’s physique now to that of 2004-2006 and you would see a stone cold difference in terms of weight. People cannot expect Ronaldinho to realistically scale the heights again unless he simply hits the treadmill running and loses the extra weight.

Ronaldinho has to lose the extra weight. It is crystal clear that it is holding him back and that’s precisly what is preventing him from fully regaining his pace and explosiveness. It isn’t rocket science and please don’t go about him being past his peak, because that’s a whole load of nonsense. Considering his party years with Barcelona (the last two) he is not really fatigued by training hard or sweating too much,so he could yet be set to fulfill his potential physically. Must start dieting!

AC Milan’s Ronaldinho on “AC-Milan 3-0 Yuventus”: I Want My Friend Leonardo To Be Happy May 15, 2010
As Leonardo closed his short experience on the Milan bench with a convincing win over Juventus this evening, man of the match Ronaldinho paid tribute to his friend and coach shortly after the final whistle.
“It has been beautiful to work with him,” Dinho declared to SkySport.
“He is my friend and I want to see him happy wherever he is.
“I don’t know who will be the coach of Milan next year. Now we will all go home, and wait for the call from the new coach at the start of next season.”
The Brazilian was then probed as to his sentiments after having been left out by coach Dunga to represent the Selecao at this summer’s World Cup.
“I don’t want to compare what I have done with what has been achieved by others this season. I respect the decisions of the coach, and ultimately it is he who chooses who should represent the country at the World Cup.”

Ronaldinho may not fit into Dunga’s working class style, but its a shame that we’ll never see him at another WC. What a player, what a character.

ronnie has been excellent this year and is like wine “his getting better & better with age”. he also emphasised that his staying which is great for us milan fans. leo’s wonderful but nobody and nothing is bigger than milan. we will live and we will fight another day. they said the same about sheva, kaka and this year when maldini retired but we’re the best club in the world. forza milan.

This is the reason why fans continue to support Ronaldinho. He stays humble considering he’s been named World player of the Year twice.

Milan Manager Massimiliano Allegri Not Expecting David Beckham To Return To Italy Jul 31, 2010

Rossonero San Siro / 9:44 PM Jul 31, 2010
Becks had 2 successful spells with us but his main motivation before was making it to the world cup, i think those days are behind him now. It’s probably for the best, i remember him saying that being in italy was tough on him because he doesnt like being away from his family, he should focus on galaxy and be close to his family. It was nice to see him out there showing his support for Milan today with his cute children. All the best to him. / 86 ; 2

agree totally with the comment from ‘rossonero san siro’. also want to add that beckham made a mistake when he went to LA after he was dropped by england. he thought his career was over, but it wasn’t. he should have had more faith in his own ability, and stayed in europe for a bit. he could have been a milan legend for the last few years. / 1 ; 0

David Beckham Pushing For Ronaldinho At Los Angeles Galaxy, But Milan Offer New Deal – Agent

Just because Beckham stop being a true footballer a long time ago doesn’t mean he should drag anyone else down with him. He treats MLS like it’s a dog he can mistreat. Buck Fecks

You know he has a reason for doing this, he just announced he wants to play in the 2012 Olympics. He’s paving the way for his return to Milan (on loan). With Ronaldinho gone, he’ll be the star. It’s time to give the young uns a chance, time to hang your boots golden balls.

he just rediscovered his form and hes gonna move to the MLS? Come on. Even flamengo shouldn’t be considered yet, he deserves to play in a top league for atleast another couple years or until he drops in form again

No Dhino = no passes, no passes = no goals, no goals = no CL football and no CL football = less money, so dont sell him. But obviously if he wants to go let him as he deserves what he wants.

Milan kept him in check, limited his partying and showed faith in him when noone wanted him anymore, Dinho even once admitted that the appreciation and family atmosphere in milan made him WANT to work harder, not just to do it cuz he had to. If he leaves i think he will slip back into old habbits and the renaissance we’ve seen will have been shortlived. It takes years of work to get back into form but it doesn’t take alot to let it slip, i hope im wrong, i just wish him luck whatever he chooses

Milan gave Dinho more he gave to us cause the rossonerie gave him a chance to get back to his forma and we have been so patient with him and now he is pushing on us by demanding a high wages. so leave him go wherever he wants we can buy a better players with his price. Forza milan!

Yes try the US Dinho. You will be happier there. This deal would be good for both parties. Milan gets the money and Dinho gets royal treatment and you can also Samba as much as you want.

it’s the only way. if he won’t accept a pay cut, then ship him off, and use the fee we’ll get plus the 16m reduced cost to rebuild the team. honda and lukaku for that money would be awesome, honda brings versatility, and depth to the much needed CAM spot (which ronaldinho will be forced into if he stays, btw), honda’s wages are free, and he brings lots of other financial benefits. and lukaku would be an awesome move for the future, lukaku, pato would own in a few years

if he wants to leave, let him. sell the guy and you will gain cash to buy other players, i hope better players. i guess we can get at least 20m Euros for him after the way milan made him play. i know we bought him for 15m but business is business 😀 FORZA MILAN.
