Inter’s Leonardo disappointed with AC Milan’s Gennaro Gattuso over derogatory chants May 10, 2011 / By Goal
(…) “I would also like to know Milan’s stance on what has happened,” said Leonardo. Nerazzurri president Moratti said bla-bla-bla. Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has been quick to respond though. He told Sky Sport Italia: “I have not seen the video. But I think it’s just a pity. Players are like that, let’s not make a drama.”

(JIWON: I think LEO should thank Gattuso… as a matter of fact. Please look Mr. Moratti. It’s becoming more difficult for Inter to sack Coach Leo after Gattuso-scandal, isn’t it? 😉 First of all, any professional, who joined Inter in this special case, should be ready to handle any attacks from Rossoneri, simply because his current Inter job is always protected by Calciopoli and his future Inter squad always look like “stealing anything from Milan sources”. This is what I believe. 😦

At the same time, this is exactly why Italian Gattuso, whose terrific weapon is an animal instinct and hard-working mentality, should receive a further training if he really wants to die as a real Rossoneri Legend and become a terrific mentor for ALL the Italian KIDS. 😉 I just can’t help imagining Gattuso’s future as a troublesome but legendary coach/trainer/mentor yelling at his little students. 😛

I felt no need to write this. But if you go to Official: Gennaro Gattuso Thread, you can find the exact relationship between Milan’s Coach LEO and Milan’s Midfielder Gattuso. Fans posted a professional article about Leo’s tactics. Only after I had checked this thread did I realize that Leo’s relationship with Seedorf or Gattuso was not “political or personal” but purely professional. Then, I was suddenly able to understand one of reasons why Sir Berlusconi failed to understand Coach Leo’s hopeless situation when he asked(?) his poor coach LEO to deploy this f*cking “Arrogant Lazybutt #10” in a pivotal position. Much more interesting was that unlike Seedorf’s media play, real Rossoneri hardly appreciated Leo’s SLOWdorf whenever he was forced to play for Leo’s Pirlo.)

Comment-Julian Malta / 5:43 PM May 1, 2011: To all those saying that Cassano hasn’t been turning up for Milan games lately…don’t forget that that guy just became a father so he’s lucky to be getting any sleep! he’s been starting all the matches cos of Ibra’s and Pato’s absences and Milan simply have no other choice than to play him. So give the poor guy a break… FORZA CASSANO! / 40 : 3

(JIWON: Let’s say that Cassano has not been sleeping since his baby was born. Some say that it was due to TYPICAL midfield, plus out-of-formed-Ambro, and therefore, [Cassano+Binho] were not seeing much of the ball. But everybody seems to agree that Cassano still looks fat and slow.

Cassano is not the only father, who joined Rossoneri Nursery in recent weeks. But Rossoneri still forgive his unique character. I just wonder. Is he going to keep “OUT OF FORM” all during the summer, just playing with his baby?)

AC Milan 3-0 Sampdoria: Seedorf, Cassano & Robinho send Allegri’s men six points clear
Top of the Match from Goal.com / Fans’ Rating: Seedorf

(JIWON: According to the Korean comment section…)
1. Weird is that no matter how great Legend Seedorf is praised by professional football sites, absolutely no one is interested in his performance. They just want to call him in his nickname “669m”. Very cynical… especially during the game.
2. As they are talking about Milan’s next year more and more, they expect Milan’s Champions League, too. Then, they never give up mentioning SLOWdorf’s Midfield, which is dubbed “ZENITH of AGING”.

Week 33: AC Milan (3) vs Sampdoria (0) – 16/04/2011 Since Apr 10, 2011 / By The Red & Black Forums

Comment-#351-Xudong / 16-04-2011, 20:13: We should give Seedorf a monthly-renewable contract, so that every game he will have such stellar performance.
Comment-#616-Milan10 / 21:16: Zambrotta deserves some praise. I believe we move to 3-0 since his return with one goal conceded. He has certainly helped to shore up that vulnerable left side. Also, can’t forget that he has a tougher job with Seedorf in front of him.

Comment-#804-yagami7gnr / 17-04-2011, 01:07: Good game by Milan, not great but good enough. Milan had total control of the game throughout the match; however, before the first goal, Milan did not created a clear opportunity at all. Also, in the first half the only good thing made by Seedorf was the goal. Second half was better with the score in our favor. Clearly Robinho would have been the top scorer in whole Europe if he would score all those clear opportunities. 5 more games to go to be crowned.
Comment-#811-Sven / 17-04-2011, 01:53: The first half was not good. Though Sampdoria never looked like a threat – a part merit of a solid defense and part Sampdoria weakness – Milan was suffering with the 2 buses they parked on the game. (…) This Milan season has been all about the first goal though, and so was this game. Seedorf free-kick simply settled the game. Funny thing, Milan was even worst after the goal (maybe the injuries played some part), the players looking without focus, committing errors of every kind, but Sampdoria couldn’t make any use of this. The second half was much better (…) Seedorf passing/braining/bossing was one level above all match. (JIWON: It was on APRIL 14, 2011 when I was working on organizing happenings during “Milan 3-0 Inter”. I couldn’t translate one Korean word. Was Cassano about to cry after picking a red card? The literal meaning of these two words is “Crying Eyes”… but then… this is not a normal word. Not only they never use this word to interpret whatever behaviors of Mr. Troublemaker, but also a few special living things in special situation are privileged for this unique word. Hence, I had to go to Cassano-thread… tired.)

Comment-#2895-anth183 / 02-04-2011, 21:41: what a cameo today
Comment-#2903-MilanSpecialist / 02-04-2011, 21:58: Good to see him come on and immediately find himself in scoring position.. then to get the foul and get the pk for us.. shame he picked up that second yellow on that silly foul..
Comment-#2907-Fiero / 02-04-2011, 22:42: Honestly I would have been disappointed if he hadn’t been sent off. He had to stay true to himself and I’m proud of him for that. 😉 Came on the last 10 mins, won a penalty, scored it, celebrated like a maniac, then got unnecessarily sent off. There’s only one Cassano, and I’m glad he plays in red & black. 😉 On a serious note, I hope the red card didn’t ruin the night for him. He seemed gutted after it, was totally uncalled for by Rizzoli but hey… no complains on this wonderful night.
Comment-#2914-Marcus / 02-04-2011, 23:59: Interesting trivia: Cassano has now scored in every single derby he’s played in. [Bari-Lecce, Roma-Lazio, Samp-Genoa, Real-Atletico, and now now Milan-Inter.] Gotta love the man.
Comment-#2917-FaRa13 / 03-04-2011, 02:59: hahahah sigurno brate! This guy will never mature.. thats why i love him.
Comment-#2918-Ashish / 03-04-2011, 03:05: come on cassano you can be the man of this team dont piss away your talent, please be in shape and stop getting suspended. He is a great talent love you but please make sure to carry this team
Comment-#2919-Ash / 03-04-2011, 03:14: That was a BS second yellow, ref clearly wanted to even the numbers nothing more. And I DEFINITELY cant imagine a Milan without him next season. He adds so much passion, heart and SWAG to the team, it’s UNBELIEVABLE!!! From the moment he came on, the amount of grinta he showed was just amazing. His attempts at rousing the crowd, his crazy goal celebration, his very clear disappointment at getting sent off, you can clearly see that the guy loves to play the game but moreover he clearly has come to love the shirt. And honestly, would rather have a Cassano playing for us or against us? (I know what my choice is gonna be) And Ashish is right, the moment Cassano regains full fitness we are gonna see the real deal. It sure as hell will be a joy to behold when that day arrives
16 games (less than half as a starter)
4 goals
6 assists
GRAZIE FANTANTONIO!!!!!
Comment-#2923-Ibra / 03-04-2011, 10:34: He is so lovable! took him 3 minutes to go through the entire register of emotions. I hope that he stays for next season and that the preseason break gets him into quality shape again.
Comment-#2924-Grande_Pirlo / 03-04-2011, 14:13: I loved the way he took the red card, he had a smile on his face, but still you could see the tears beginning to burst out! Pazzo! 100% love!
Comment-#2930-LimerickMilan / 03-04-2011, 18:41: [@#2915-Goodfella. I fucking love this guy!] – I like him too. But I think its too populist to say, ‘oh its part of his character’. Our team leaders like Gatusso, Seedorf, Nesta, Prince, should lift him by his selfish fuckin neck two feet off the ground in the locker room and tell him quite clearly that if he thinks that he can fuckin derail our title run with his stupidity and child like behaviour he can go fuck himself, and let him know in no uncertain manner that what he did is not tolerated at a club that wins leagues and titles. Shit like that is fine if you play for a fuckin micky mouse club like Genoa, Newcastle Utd or Limerick FC, not A.C. fuckin Milan. It is totally disrespectful to his teammates who are working their bollox off to win the title and this gowl just goes and picks up a cheap suspension like that. I’d love for Seedorf and the rest of the guys that we know/think will be leaving, to win a title and bow out at the top, like champions. This little fuckers ego and actions threatens that from happening. Here we are, trying to win a title for the first time in years, and he is putting it in jeopardy with this needless suspension. How is he supposed to find form now? Just because we won 3-0 last night, I think he is getting off wayyy to lightly. Next weeks game and the others after are not going to be easy, it would of been useful to have him available. I am sooo pissed off, I do not want Milan to loose the title in the final stretch, especially because of needless suspensions. Apologies for the swearing. Forza Milan
Comment-#2943-Illadro80 / 04-04-2011, 10:57: Cassano is hilarious. Almost everytime he speaks on the pitch he puts his hand front of his mouth in attempt to ”censure” any possible blasphemy only to be cough on the camera from a different angle.
Comment-#2950-Madridista / 04-04-2011, 15:24: Cassano has so much passion. He won’t cost Milan anything with the sending off, he will continue to do his part like he has so far and there is no need for anyone grabbing him by the neck to teach him a lesson, because nobody ever could or will ever be able to do that. Theres a thin line between genius and crazy and Cassano is right there. I love him for who he is

(JIWON: I think this thread has IT. Then, I realized something more.)

Comment-#2951-Ragazza / 04-04-2011, 15:35: seriously, cassano is a GOOBER. still ❤ you…but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING PAL?!
Comment-#2953-Jasper / 04-04-2011, 16:42: Gattuso taught him that. It’s our copyrighted rotation system called ‘get a red’. Watch out for Pato and Robinho vs Fiore cause it’s their turn.

Comment-#2976-rossoneri03 / 11-04-2011, 18:04: this is the perfect opportunity for cassano to step up and prove his worth to the team.. the next three games are going to be crucial with ibra out. and i don’t understand why some people want cassano to leave.. he is the best italian player at the moment.. even a cassano who is not at his best is better than most players who we can hope to get in summer
Comment-#2979-Dinar / 14-04-2011, 10:51: Christopher Cassano Is Born! Surprised nobody has wished Antonio and his wife yet. Congratulations to both of them for their first child, a son.
Comment-#2982-BrazilianMilan / 14-04-2011, 14:30: Congratulations Cassano! Score a goal against Sampdoria for Christopher!

(JIWON: Ho! Christopher Cassano Is Born! 😛 I am now curious. Do his family still don’t want to live in Milan? Anyway, it is more interesting to find that neither Pato nor Robinho but IBRA proved his turn to ‘GET A RED’ during “Fiorentina 1-2 Milan”… and it’s time not to smile.)

Comment-#863-Dinar / 18-04-2011, 15:03: Quote from Gianfranco: (…) The day for me belonged to Fantonio, please take nothing from solid performances from Seedorf, Robinho, and Prince, but coming in off the bench and really working to put himself in great places gave Milan the edge they needed after the first goal. Having welcomed his new son into the World and staying up with him for a supposed 48 hours, his sluggishness was evident, and his tired eyes easy to see but a great PK a cheeky assist, and a chance for two goals had it not been for Curci, this game would have been the Cassano show in the second half. Coming off the bench and getting into the game in great fashion was just awesome to see, he is happy at Milan and it is starting to show. Four goals for Milan, a handful of assists, and this buy is looking better and better with Pato’s injury and Zlatan’s disciplinary issues. The injuries were a bit worrying, and with Pato out for around 10-14 days and news still pending as I write on Abbiati, I have to admit the win becomes bittersweet. Losing key players down the stretch is never good so I have to sit here and hope for the best. (…)

Comment-#2931-SpartanMilan / 03-04-2011, 19:02: i like him, but there is a real problem he is still not in shape after being here for 3 months. he got so out of shape in a single month without playing that he hasnt been able to get himself in shape by now. That is an issue. He is like Dinho in that way, tons of talent (not as much as Dinho) but lacking the professionalism to take it to the next level. They are different because Dinho never had the mean streak… Honestly, if Cassano had his head on straight and worked hard, he could have been a top 5 player in the world, he truly has that kind of talent, but currently he isnt even in the top 100 in all likelihood.

(JIWON: Yes, I do agree that it’s a shame to see this kind of talent die out. However, Cassano is not like Dinho, whose notorious agent or family can’t live without Dinho’s higher wages and believe that higher wages never mean reasonable work-rate or professionalism but only mean past glory. Ever since Cassano came to Milan at THIS price, I’ve never heard of money problem surrounding his contract issues. I only felt that this Italian talent wants to enjoy his life.

Is he happy even if he wakes up every morning only to watch his dying physique in the mirror? Is he happy even if half of his Milan life is bound to warm the bench? Does he know how to keep his performance level even if he’s not getting consistent game time? Is he happy, after all? So be it, then. It’s absolutely his life. I mind nothing as long as he is a happy professional and doesn’t behave like Legend Seedorf, whose infinite ego should watch all his teammates play harder in order to assist his international fame and his private business.

So far, my only opinion is that in this crucial moment, it’s better for him to realize that he’s been such a precious member in Milan that his tiny, tiny mistakes can cost Milan points, goals & titles. Because I’m sure that this is a guy, who knows what means “Being loved” and he knows how to return this love. Of course, if Infant Christopher happens to let Daddy Fant’Antonio discover his motivation for self-actualization, why worry? So be it, then. Just let me know when. I’m always ready to kick this lazy-ass into a “Hard Training Club”. 😉 )

Comment-#2961-Danilo_JBG / 09-04-2011, 20:02: It’s strange. When he was just coming from a two month period without playing time, he was amazing, making assists at will. Now, he had a fair amount of playing time, but his form dropped too much. His last leally good game was against Parma. I hope he plays as well as he can next season, because he is so talented.
Comment-#2962-Pollo / 09-04-2011, 21:57: For Italy he played much better than with us, give him some time
Comment-#2886-PatoRTW / 24-03-2011, 05:23: Cassano is one talented guy but i do admit he needs to get lighter. (probably from having a child he has celebrated alot) Next Season i want to see him in shape. When he was at Sampdoria he was pretty much playing as a winger, putting crosses and long diagonal balls taking on players and that’s what i want to see from him at Milan. But still 2 goal 6 assists at his time here where he’s been out of form is very good

(JIWON: Please look. I know nothing about tactics or his favorite role, of course. But… I know… Seedorf’s way of kicking, running and shooting never work for this Italian footballer. Whether long ball or not. And I finally found out one interesting comment.

I don’t remember when, but the last time I watched Binho’s performance, I was surprised at his hum-what-do-i-say. It seems that he’s made some improvement. There were lots of air around his Brazilian tricks… especially around his dancing legs playing the ball. (I remember that fans call this kind of scene “Brazilian trick and flicks”.) Then, he definitely needs a specific X to fix his tensed upper body, or he can never become a strong footballer like Ronaldo. So does Cassano. Interestingly, they share a similar problem, and then, a hint of Seedorf’s heavy and dull physique, which prime form look EXPLOSIVE to the foreign eyes, will only destroy IT. And I never compromise on this issue.)

Comment-#12269-Falkryr / 10-04-2011, 23:02: Lol 4 match ban this is a big freakin´joke :/ Japp only in Italy.
Comment-#12275-badboybjorn / 10-04-2011, 23:06: If he gets 4 game ban for what happened tonight im seriously gonna believe in refs being paid of. That would be completely unfair considering there is hardly a game played with no swearing at the judges and in far more aggressive manners. I think Milan will win rest of the games even without ibra but i want him to be on the pitch sharing the joy and glory as each game takes us one step closer. + i think he needs to feel apart of it all again to lift his spirit. Great important win but still sad for the big guy. Especially if he gets 4 games of again lol. + his yellow tally will still stand and he is only 1 yellow away from sitting out a game more..
Comment-#12286-Desc / 10-04-2011, 23:12: the ref is pretty bad overall, Ibra first yellow was also undeserved. but if he really did insult or swearing at the linesman obviously he deserved a booking, maybe a second yellow would be more appropriate though..pretty harsh decision imo. still hes an arrogant stupid player, disappointing attitude. i hope the four matches ban is a joke otherwise well..

Comment-#12220-badboybjorn / 10-04-2011, 22:27: If one look at ibras total games this season and the way he played them. I dont think at all that he is a player who does nasty fauls or anything the like. In fact i think he uses his strength pretty fairly and quite often gets a foul against him for just being stronger. Yet his card tally shows a very different story. I wonder if he is a much nastier player than the camera portraits to the viewers or if he is just getting alot of crap his way because he used to play very nasty? I mean i dont even c him overreacting when he have gotten these reds, he just walks off probably dissapointed but doesent really protest even. This whole card situation just look weird from where im sitting.
Comment-#12189-Susan / 10-04-2011, 22:13: Not defending his behaviour, but I think the cards shown to Ibra were excessive. First of all the yellow wasn’t really a yellow and the red was a bit harsh too if it was a straight red. Linesman get offended every game and usually no player gets a red for that, seems like everyone hates Zlatan. He helped us score though, was involved in both goals, but his own finish was shit, still needs to learn much to get back to where he was some months ago.
Comment-#12179-Frusciante12 / 10-04-2011, 22:08: He was pretty good today, the card situations were just bad luck. What baffles me though is how a verbal projectile is considered a red card when almost chopping of someones leg (the one who tackled Abate) barely gets a warning? I don’t even think the referee was offended or hurt in anyway by what Ibra said.. And by the way, what did he say?
Comment-#12329-LoLInter / 10-04-2011, 23:36: Hello Everyone! Long-time reader and follower of this forum but first time writer… I gotta say that I’m shocked at the way many of you reacted to Ibra’s red card.. Just a few hours ago it was all “Peace, Quiet and Win” after the ban of Fredrik and Kuja… Now everyone is going crazy over Ibra getting mad at himself? People.. please.. take a chill pill lol. On the red card: This has Moratti written all over the place… This ref was inconsistent and blowing free kicks for nothing while making stupid decisions all over the place. I gotta say it was stupid of Ibra to curse loudly (even if at himself) but the shit he’s getting from alot of you isn’t really fair tbh.
Comment-#12345-LoLInter / 11-04-2011, 00:40: One thing keeps bugging me though.. The Fiorentina players tried several times to get a penalty and one of the times ( I think it was when Seedorf got his arm hooked by one of em and fell ) they all stormed the ref and I think Gilardino made physical contact with him (push) but all he got was a yellow? Seriously wtf? How can verbal abuse be red-card worthy while Physical Contact is yellow-card worthy?.. This has been bugging me all night and still does. I’m telling you, this ref has a fishy smell worthy of Moratti

Comment-#12223-Dutchie-Milan / 10-04-2011, 22:28: Milannews says Ibra said Vaffanculo to the linesman and risks a three match ban.
Comment-#12232-Dwa_Milan / 10-04-2011, 22:31: @#12223-Dutchie-Milan. lol haha I’ve seen Cassano said Vaffanculo to a reff and the linesman about three times , he doesn’t get any booking.
Comment-#12240-Frusciante12 / 10-04-2011, 22:36: Vaffanculo? That’s it? Wow..what a weak crybaby for referee..
Comment-#12244-Falkryr / 10-04-2011, 22:41: Hahaha next time we must have mouth-bandages for all players what a joke for refs :/
Comment-#12258-Goldfinger68 / 10-04-2011, 22:54: Haha, this is pretty funny, cassano, gatusso and thousands of other players swear 24h on the pitch, but today this guys got a direct red card for that. And that tackle before on abate was NOTHING.. fucking merdas president paying the refs.. haha

Seedorf out, Gattuso in. Ibra out, Robinho in. and play counterattack. / 4 : 4

Comment-#12165-badboybjorn / 10-04-2011, 21:49: Omg this really wasent the return i was hoping for. I was begging for allegri to sub him just before the red card cause as fiorentina scored i felt the game could get intense again and i thought ibra possibly could get a 2nd yellow considering he looked tired and cranky. But a red??? Dident c that one coming. Pretty sad but maybe good for Milan considering he clearly is nowhere near the giant he was just a few months ago.
Comment-#12202-theduck7 / 10-04-2011, 22:18: He could still cost us the league don’t think anyones being harsh, he hasn’t been dealing well at all with the pressure on him
Comment-#12335-PatoRTW / 10-04-2011, 23:45: Ibrahimovic wasn’t very great tonight. It’s very clear Milan are a better team without him ATM, so i actually thank this suspension. The highest earning player (9m) and this is how he plays. He’s problems this season are he’s always, always offside, play is so slow when he has the ball there’s no moment, he’s too flashy with the ball and when he losses it he turns to a statue. He can pick a pass and score a goal but it really hasn’t been present recently and it’s been so negative to him hasn’t scored (open play) seen around January and now 2 straight reds in two games. I so dearly thank him this season for what he’s done but his season is now turning into Barcalona II, beast at the beginning, slacking at the end. Overall i’m glad he’s at Milan but i now have doubts for signing him. Hopefully he can prove me wrong with the remaining games

Comment-#12348-arianebankai / 11-04-2011, 01:00: i remember reading january or february issue of Four Four Two where Ibra giving tips on how to become a great striker. I think one of the tips is “always maintain your cool / resist abuse/ smth like that”.. ah.. if only he practices what he preach. 😦

Comment-#12185-MilanMB / 10-04-2011, 22:09: @#121??-Sage. fuck you sage, stupid cuntish thing to say. Most football players are from low working class background. You don’t see all of them behave like this. You should really learn some manners. You’re talking like “low” class is something bad… humbleness comes from poverty and “low” class.
Comment-#12224-MilanMB / 10-04-2011, 22:28: @#12159-Ashish. This is so fucking lame! It really doesn’t matter how important he is when he does things like this? You have to understand that he can’t continue disrespecting the team like this… other players will learn, the morale will go down, he’s important and he needs to be ON THE PITCH not being banned.

Comment-#12350-USC / 11-04-2011, 01:19: While I hate Ibrahimovic, and have for a while, I do appreciate that he speaks Italian slowly. It is my second language and when native speakers (of which I know he is not) speak at normal speed, I can’t understand. I have to watch G pressers usually 10 times to understand everything.
Comment-#12289-gzim_berisha / 10-04-2011, 23:13: Ibra: ‘I was angry with myself’. (…) “I lost the ball and was angry with myself, not the assistant referee. I was talking to myself. I didn’t protest the red card because there was nothing to be said, he had made his decision. My teammates have reason to be angry with me, as during a period when Fiorentina were putting on the pressure was certainly not the right time to get sent off. I am sorry, but it seems as if nowadays I can’t even mutter to myself without getting into trouble. I’ll do everything I can to help Milan win the Scudetto,” said the Milan striker.
Comment-#12237-Susan / 10-04-2011, 22:33: google translate from milannews: “The sentence was (…) Today I had so wanted to play, I was very calm and … then the next time I close my mouth. We have six finals to play, if we play like today and the derby I’m not worried, we are at the end but we have not won anything. The more I train with Pato, most things are better. He plays well, and it is important now is his moment, he is the future of Milan and the world of football. ”

Comment-#12194-Don_Meowingtons / 10-04-2011, 22:15: Moron. You would think his previous two game suspension would serve him well to put a few things into perspective. I hope he is slapped with at least another two match ban. Played well. Should’ve converted one of his opportunities which would’ve killed the game, then he decides to commit a stupid foul and give the official a verbal spray. Pathetic.
Comment-#12241-Don_Meowingtons / 10-04-2011, 22:36: Enough about your rants on virtue and moral justification; save this discussion for the Peace thread. Sage is an insipid drongo trying to justifily his tasteless comments. Not many people liking you now, Jackass.
